Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you enjoy your holiday season. Just wanted to say hi. I stay busy taking care of my dad who is in stage 3 dementia. My life is not what I thought it would be but am making the adjustments as needed. Have a Happy New Year and stay safe. Tanja

We had to move my dad in with us and I am in the process of cleaning out his house of 62 yrs of marital collections. I sometimes substitute apple pie spice or use the cinnamon and add 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg. And also at times substitute brown sugar for the white if I serve it with ham or canadian bacon. Also try almond extract instead of the vanilla for a chance of taste or if topped with cherries.
