Fallout 3

I picked on up on release day and i am having a great time playing it. Bethesade software did such an awesome job keeping the feel and fun that 1 got from playing the first 2 games. The graphics are totally amazing ( yay for the oblivion engine) If any of you have played either fallout 1 or 2, you should really try this, you won't be disappointed.

I really want to try this but I just can't see shelling out $50 right now when in 6 months it will be cut in half.

Yeah, this is a very tight game. Well worth it to pickup.

Aye this game can be endless fun hours of play. Its also fun to mess around with the ~ (Tilde) screen, i cant remember any codes off hand for cheats etc but this site

Play around with some of the weapon cheats, some of them are hilarious. like Experimental MIRV 0003422B . Make jump height really really high and while in the air launch that thing at the ground, looks awesome.

Is this an MMO or a single player game for #3?
I played both the 1st two and made an editor for 2nd one.
But playing alone got boring to me

heh little late posting on this but it is both. Either it has the online for fighting one another or playing the 1 player together. I havnt checked those modes tbh. will have to turn it on again and check.

Just my 2cp, but why do folks keep posting games that will draw players away from this game. Don't we have enough problems with the new 51/50 server taking folks away?

Well, there is a forum here for it, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect people to use it.

I'm not one to be drawn away from a good game.
(My 1st time off was when they updated the game, it would not run on my system.)
I do need to study many different games and their ideas.

Well, above all, these are games we're talking about- people's recreation. Anyone should be free to pursue whatever games they enjoy and make them happy. Most serious gamers are quite aware of all the games out there anyway, and not mentioning them here won't prevent anything.
Of course, look how many people wind up returning to EQ....that says a lot
