if you click the "My Profile" button on the upper right side it should show you something like http://www.facebook.com/FRMCGuppy?ref=profile mine does anyways.

Did you pay for a user ID?

Click on Accounts upper right, and go down to Account Settings. then you should see User name. just change it there and it should show up for you when you click profile.

Gave me this mesg:

If you have a mobile phone that can receive SMS message, you can verify via mobile phone. If not, please try to register your username at a later time.

Found alot of people up in arms over this. As of right now the only way to change your user name on Facebook is to activate your account first. Only way to do that is with a cell phone. So... you either stick with no user name or find someone you really trust to help ya out. Sorry Zzzapp, that's all I could find out.

I just made a dummy account on Facebook to see what was the problem. All I needed was an e-mail account so that the FB account could be verified. No cell phone needed. I am able to go back in there and edit the username and all other info.
