Overall a great trip we did go check out the World Series of Poker as well and saw Mike Sexton but you all probably don't know who that is sooo nm ..

We will go next year again if we can.. it will certainly be a priority for our sanity... I think everyone needs to go do this at least once..Clerics Orders..

Yeah , we did go for a bit, we didn't play in any of the tourny's , maybe next year... we did see Mike Sexton the host of World Poker Tour and Jc Tran playing in a tourny.. it was interesting to watch ..

Looks like a lot of fun. We're still kicking ourselves for not going when they had it in Boston. Vegas is a bit far for us to go.

The fanfaire was really the best time I've had in a long while, probably the most fun we've had since the honeymoon I would definitely recommend everyone who can make it to one, go if you can. For the $80 all access pass we got the next expansion for both EQ and EQ2 for free, a huge buffet dinner, a fanfaire t-shirt, and an awesome party with an open bar all night long among other things. They announced tons of info about all games they release as well as had many open panels with the devs to discuss many elements of the game.

We spent almost 3 days there and never even spent a minute in a casino It was just a blast.

I really want to go to one someday- maybe we can shoot for next year, too. Looks like so much fun!

Glad to hear you two had a great time. Fan Faire's always been a love of mine. Bally's was much better (and much cheaper hotel rates) than Rio or Hilton (the other places they've had it at that I'm aware of).

In case folks are curious, here's the names of some of the devs from Spyrit's pic above.

From right to left - Aristo, Nodyin (at the computer), Rytan (standing behind him), Ngreth (praying), an intern for SoE/EQ. Again right to left from the podium, Sklug, Jchan, Elidroth, (and the last two I can't quite see well enough to make out). Absor is off to the far left out of screen shot I believe.

Aye, some day we will goto one of these. Actually Zinfadel was flying in and out of Vegas that very weekend, but had no idea that the fan fair was going on.
