How can I make the background to go away outside of my image? I can only seem to figure out how to paint it, but not make it invisible.
... like a speeding car with jammed door locks, cut brake lines, a dead steering wheel, and air vents that pump nitrous oxide. Everyone is dimly aware the country is heading for the edge of a cliff, but no one can muster the energy to search for alternatives.

Only one file type can be invisible (henceforth we shall call it transparent). That is a .Gif file. Be warned, there is usually a seperate option for just saving a .gif and sometimes there is the compuserve gif format or a gif89 export thing. Either way. Your generic help program inside most applications should be able to look-up Gif and/or transparency in the index and the rest is a bit of reading on if or how the program can do it.

This is a nice little article on it if you enjoy reading material:

Can we include HTML in our Sigs? I see in Options it is listed as ON. But it dosen't seem to work for me.

Ok my attempts are to get a JAVA based Sig to post, I guess that is not permitted here. If you click my sig, you will be taken to what the java sig I wanted to use is like. Drag your mouse over it.

I don't know! Secret monk stuff. I have stolen many of them for testing but we haven't figured it out yet.

Initial muck. Going to scale down the background a bit laters. And add some shadows n stuff behind the sword.
Can you add gas? I mean since it's BD and all.....
