Beautiful Deck Work (Posted on behalf of Onefop)

Post by Feemee »

Posting images for Onefop - what a great job he did!!

Onefop:

"The lawn area you see in the pictures are the last of the level ground area in my back yard. It slopes down from their to a creek about 40 feet away.

The posts you see extend down 5 feet to the level of the ground and 2 feet into it.

The post are treated with a preservative, to cover that I framed finish lumber around them and painted.

The slabs we are standing on are 2 foot square concrete with water washed pebbles exposed. The areas between the joints are planted with creeping red thyme that will take traffic, heat and have small red flowers when mature.

The bushes / tree to the left of the deck is outlined with water washed rocks to outline another planting area

My daughter took the pictures, I think they make me look fat!!! I’m actually very thin and much better looking!!"

Sneekyc is to be commended. He did a great job supervising that construction.

Very nice! BEEEUTIFUL! Your efforts are evident in the well planned out deck Onefop.

Tuck your T-Shirt in, it makes you look skinnier.

That's some really nice work One. I particularly like the stonework. Looks like a great spot to "just be". 8)

Hey Onefop, BTW, where did that Staff you are holding in your hand drop? Very unique graphic, can you link the stats?
