Hunting Season

Post by Caitlinbree »

The time is getting near for my other true love, Big Game Hunting. Once deer season starts, my attendance is going to fall off DRASTICALLY. Archery season kicks off in TN next month and then its Muzzleloader and then gun season til January. While the raids in the woods do not yield DKP, the loot is pretty good.

Nice Cait!

I have a few bows myself, I shoot only fingers no tab. And I have a few BP pistols as well a few Army and Navy.

Good luck on the hunt bro!

I used to just shoot fingers too. I switched to a release a couple of years ago. There is less string roll and more consistency in your shot every time.
As far as the muzzleloaders go, I have probably the same Army and Navy revolvers that you mentioned plus the Kentucky pistol, Kentucky Rifle, Colonial pistol, Philidelphia derringer and a modern inline that uses pyrodex. I wont even attempt the list the conventional firearms owned between CW and myself. We probably outgun say.... Bolivia. :D
