Its just an Irish Green tartan, not my family tartan. Mine would be McDuff but, like Etrudia, mine was purchased for a wedding.

I'm more of a poser, I don't even know if I have any Scottish in my history. I think i'm mostly German hehe..

But 99% of the people at the ren fest don't know the difference, and even my horrible Scottish accent a lot of people think is genuine...

Here is a pic from the wedding I bought my kilt for. The Sportkilt website put it on their wall of fame.

I'm on the far left and Cena's the one I'm leaning on trying to cause a train wreck...

My Tartan would be Clan Campbell...I have a lot of lowlander and highlander blood in me, Cambell being the majority.

My husband's family has two tartans. One is a dress tartan.

This one is the hunting tartan.

One of these days he says he will get a kilt made but it is pretty expensive. When he looked into it before they told him it would be more expensive than a normal one because it is old and rare.

When he talked to the people in Williamsburg, VA at the Scottish store they told him it would be between 3500 and 4000 for the entire thing since it was old and rare. I told him that part of the reason the price was that high is b/c the store was small and independent.

aye my grandpa bought his from a small store in a town of about 2000. Think his sporn alone was bout 700 bucks. Was seal fur, and if youve seen a seal, they dont exactly have a whole lot of fur.

This is me at the golf course the day before the wedding, several of us wore our kilts. This is my family tartan, the Taylor clan, I purchased my kilt last year. I have several friends that own their family kilts.
